Congratulations to the Orange Schools students whose incredible works have PLACED in the State PTA Reflections Competition! In the Literature/Middle School Division, 7th grader Benjamin Clayton received the Award of Outstanding Achievement which is the second top honor at the state! He will be recognized at a luncheon in Columbus this spring. In the Literature/High School Division, 9th grader Tatev Sargsyan received the 1st Honorable Mention. In the category of Photography/Intermediate Division, 5th grader Sanay Moghekar received the 3rd Honorable Mention. And in Visual Arts/High School Division, OHS junior Quriah Jarvis received the 3rd Honorable Mention.

After winning First Place in their respective categories in the Orange Schools’ PTA Reflections Contest last fall, the students’ works were submitted to the state contest. They competed against hundreds of entries from around the state to earn placement in the top six showcasing this year’s theme, “Show Your Voice!”

Special gratitude goes out to our PTA Reflections Coordinators for all of their help organizing the projects! Next year’s theme is “I Am Hopeful Because…”. Start those creative juices flowing now. We are so proud of all of our talented student artists!
